The aims of the HEIRS opening symposium are:

Research Synthesis in Human Evolution
To promote research synthesis in human evolution, exemplifying a range of synthesis approaches (especially the collaborative ones), across different disciplines related to human evolution

To present the functioning of HEIRS and how it will be able to foster more synthesis work in human evolution.
