Eminent scholars who want to come to HEIRS and ICArEHB to develop a sabbatical project adopting a synthesis approach to tackle human evolution questions are invited to apply any time. The project should include the collaboration with at least one member of ICArEHB and have realistic objectives of outputs. The stays generally last three to nine months, with formal and informal opportunities to talk about science and research. Interested scholars should contact the coordinator of HEIRS by email to receive the application form.
Selected scholars will receive a subside that compensates for living expenses in Faro, adapted to the stay. They will be given a working space and full access to ICArEHB’s and UAlg facilities. In order to maintain high-quality experience, we host only one sabbatical at a time; we are thus inviting you to contact us early on to secure adequate period.
